Snakes Taking Over Your Yard?

6/5/2019

Have you spotted any snakes lately in your yard or in your garage? Don't approach them. There are a few snakes in Virginia that are poisonous, and you do not want to tango with any of them on your own. If you spot a snake that looks questionable aside from the smaller garden snakes, which are harmless, contact a wildlife expert. If you can take a picture from far away with zoom capabilities this could also help the technician to identify the snake prior to heading out. The important thing is to always stay safe. Bites from any snake can be painful and can cause infection, but bites from poisonous snakes are deadly if not treated properly and timely. 🐍
