Unexpected Surprise In Your Attic?

7/2/2019

When was the last night you checked your attic? If it has been awhile, do yourself a favor and do an inspection to determine if all is still quiet and clean up there. From moisture issues to critters setting up camp, an attic is a great place for things to stay hidden. Animals can chew their way through small openings and take up residence in the attic and live and thrive there until noticed. If you treat your attic as part of your home and do weekly or monthly maintenance checks, you could avoid a ton of headaches down the road. Many animals tend to be active at night and make noises when most people are trying to sleep. If you notice noises coming from your attic, chances are you have something living in it. Call your local wildlife technician and expert to do an inspection and determine the solution to fix the problem.

Don't get caught with something unexpected!

Maintain A Yearly Home Inspection Schedule

6/26/2019

Home inspection and improvement go hand in hand, and should be thoroughly done at least once a year. The changes of the seasons can cause some minor or major damage, including access to the inside of your home exposed to the outside elements.

There are many wildlife critters seeking shelter during various of months of the year, and the rooftop is a highly common place for an animal to feel secure. Roofs can withstand a lot, however after numerous attempts of chewing and breaking, animals can easily break apart shingles leading in to the attic.

Yearly home inspections can be quick and simple, but it can also  help foresee problems that could turn into major problems down the road. If damage is left untreated, the cost becomes unreal. Do yourself a favor, and mark your calendar to have your yearly home inspection performed so that you're always ahead.

When was the last time you climbed on your roof and inspected it? Notice any openings or chewed out holes? "Don't fear, All Around Animal Control is Here!"

Catching Animals Is Not For The Faint Of Heart

6/25/2019

Not everyone grows up wanting to be a wildlife animal trapper, but someone's got to do it. For experienced wildlife animal technicians, the job to trap animals causing a nuisance for residential and commercial properties is not an easy task. The environment is always changing, and animals are always getting smarter. Some animals are more dangerous than others, and some can carry extremely harmful diseases that could kill a human. The duty of the job is to provide a safer environment for our communities and educating the public about the preventative maintenance and wildlife nuisances.

Leave the job to the expert, and give one a call if you suspect a critter has entered your premises. It could save you more than just a peace of mind.

Uncovered, Chewed Away, Or Missing Pieces: Entry Points

6/12/2019

A home can have many entry points. If not properly inspected, you could find yourselves having additional residents residing among you (rodents or other critters). Many animals including rats and squirrels love chewing through a home's exterior in order to reside within it. Whether they are trying to avoid the climate changes from winter to summer months, or needing a safe location to have their young, a home's interior makes for a more comfortable place to live for many wildlife. If the problem goes unnoticed for some time, the damage can really add up, and so can the cost to repair and replace any damaged items.

Contact a wildlife specialist if you notice any uncovered, chewed away, or missing pieces that should be otherwise covered on your home.

Snakes Taking Over Your Yard?

6/5/2019

Have you spotted any snakes lately in your yard or in your garage? Don't approach them. There are a few snakes in Virginia that are poisonous, and you do not want to tango with any of them on your own. If you spot a snake that looks questionable aside from the smaller garden snakes, which are harmless, contact a wildlife expert. If you can take a picture from far away with zoom capabilities this could also help the technician to identify the snake prior to heading out. The important thing is to always stay safe. Bites from any snake can be painful and can cause infection, but bites from poisonous snakes are deadly if not treated properly and timely. 🐍

Summer is among us and the days are only getting hotter. There is only such much heat and humidity that we can endure, and the same goes for animals outside. If you live near water, you have probably seem first hand the critters, bugs, and wildlife that flock to it throughout the year, but peaking in the summer time. Wildlife animals are also trying to stay cool and hydrate themselves, and will stay close to a water source, as this is their mode of survival. If the wildlife animals start to become a nuisance, give a wildlife technician a call to inspect the situation.

Birds love to set up their nesting material in eaves and hidden places on your home because those areas protect their eggs from predators.
